Saturday's snow storm covered my area with over 28" of the white stuff. We spent all day yesterday digging out. Today I painted in the alley behind my house.

I've been trying to push through the winter doldrums and find some motivation. Painting with friends always seems to get me going, so today I went to my friend Cecelia's studio and we painted still lives together. What fun!

Sunday Morning, Shipoke
Finally added some finishing touches to this painting which was started a few months ago in Shipoke along the river. I've just delivered it and 2 other works to Gallery @ 2nd where it will be part of the multi-artist 'Burg Exhibit which opens with a public reception on January 14 and runs until March 2.
