Tie Dye wall

This was a fun project that I did today.
What 10 year old girl wouldn't love to have a tie dye wall in her room - created with neon paints for the full black light effect.
Peace!

  1. My daughter would love to do this in her bedroom. Can you tell me how you did it? I am hoping it's not too complicated.

  2. Hi and thanks for commenting.
I used rags and several different colors of paint to create the effect.
    It's not too hard.

  6. Thank you! I did not think it was too difficult, but to be fair I have been working in paint for 20 years. For this particular effect it is helpful to have a carefree attitude about it. Just play. What you think are mistakes can be happy accidents that enhance the tie dye effect. Just as you were dying a tshirt..there is little control over the finish.

  7. How did you get the white streaks in the paint to look like the white fabric or shirt where dye doesn’t soak in?
